Hi everyone it's been a while since I post here and I'm in the final process of installing eaton swap.

Actually I finished everything (hopfully) and the tunner (marty) said my FPDC % is high and need a dual or bigger one, So I bought another AEM and modified the hat a little bit. But I don't know if the wires need upgrading or not ?

And most importantly the FPDM upgrade what's need to be changed, Is it the transistor? The Capacitor? The Inductor? Or the Diod? And which spec do I need?

Please I need your help guys and I already asked Racerx but he's been awhile since his last time available.

Thanks

I'm in the same boat...I wanted one but Noone seems to be modifying them anymore. I can do board solder work so if someone has the spec on what exactly was changed and the parts it'd be simple to modify my own.

I have a RacerX modded one you can try.

Appreciate it Jim, but I'd be in the same boat. I want one permanently, whether it fixes my current issue or not.

Upgrade the relay to a 30 amp as well. Keep the 20 amp fuse unless you upgrade the wiring. I didn't and have no issues except for the standard 20 amp relay.

Looking for the part numbers for the components used in the modification so I can make some of these. Repeated PM's to RacerX have not resulted in any replies.

He posted on the other site a couple times recently. I wrote him there because he owes me a new unit under warranty for well over a year now which he agreed to and he won't respond anymore. I wouldn't say anything but it's been a very long time and I believe he has had time to regroup or whatever he is up to.....

I’ve tried reaching him too. No luck.

Anybody remember the guy's name who originally did the mod and sold them on ModularFords forums?

Been out of the loop for awhile, go this from ModularFords:

After MJChip (Zone5) closed shop there was someone on Corral that was making the hopped up FPDMs for a while (perhaps still is) although I don't recall who. You might want to just use two FPDMs, one for each pump. That way if one failed you could easily replace it with a stock unit from a local parts store.

I sure hope mine dosen't fail since it seems nobody makes them anymore.

Looks like Bill (RacerX) was the one building them. Haven't seen him on here for quite a while, though.

An alternative might be one of these (https://www.dagostinoracing.com/dri-99-04-mustang-modified-fuel-pump-driver-module.html)? Dunno if they'll work on our cars...

As soon as can identify the components to upgrade I'll start modding them. Probably at the same cost.

I called DiAugustino but number is not "working". I also would like an upgraded FPDM.

I'm collecting parts and will likely start modifying them in 2 or 3 weeks. I expect the cost will be close to the same.
