All of the windows in my 2003 marauder are all water etched. I can’t find a way to get them clean. I have tried polishing them with a da and megabits m105, vinegar and #0000 steel wool and nothing helped at all, the still look as bad as when I started. Does anyone have any suggestion?

try this, it works good for removing built up road grime that car soap does not etc...found in cleaners section at grocery..sponge and some elbow grease, a little water..make a paste..smaller area at a time. rinse well

If the above doesn’t work, you may want to give a glass company a call, or a detail shop, last choice a place that cleans windows commercially. By the look of it, it appears etched in, good luck.

You might want to confirm if it's not lime spots 1st.

Use 50/50 white vinegar & water, soak a paper towel and lay on the window. Keep wet with solution for 10 minutes and remove and immediately wash the window. If "etching" is gone in that spot then it's not etching, it's lime spots. Repeat using an old towel instead of paper towel to cover a larger area.

If the glass is pitted and you really wanna polish it use Cerium Oxide some water and a high speed buffer but be warned it is VERY MESSY!!
