You need to loosen the bottom mount nuts (2), one on each side then raise a bit.

Nope. It won’t clear no matter how high you raise the engine. Two choices, lower the cross member or remove engine.

Very plausible, I know a sohc you can get the pan off of, a dohc, I don’t have any experience changing the pan on a Marauder while in the car

Yes, You can drop the pan and change it without the engine being pulled.

Good idea!
Motor mount nuts off, engine jacked up till the car started to lift as well. Believe me, I was trying to find a way because Zack said I couldn’t.. LOL

the proper pan part number or what pans fit with out modifications might help, I’m not sure of those answers but the replacement one we got was not exact replacement.

I did it on my silver MM when I replaced the timing guides to clean the pieces out of the screen. Took the motor mounts loose and raised it as high as possible. Dropped the pan part way, unbolted the pick up tube, removed the pan and the pickup tube out the front of the engine. Fan/radiator hoses must be removed to make it happen. I also had the valve covers and wiper cowl off at the same time, I don't know if that helped any for clearance or not.
