I installed the upgrade months ago and have been loving it. Unfortunately I started getting a high pitched squeal when I press the brake pedal. I pulled them off, greased everything, and sprayed the pads with disc quiet (back of pads). Still having the issue. Today I replaced the rear pads and greased everything. Still having a squeal. So, finally I walked next to the car while my wife pressed the brake and it is definitely coming from the front.
I used rotors from eBay (same as Jerry's)
I used "quiet ceramic" pads from Advanced Auto
I painted them with a brush.
What am I missing?

Replace the pads I’m sure they have free replacement, just because they say quite doesn’t mean they are any good.

I️ have the same issue, I’m on My 3rd set of pads. Squeals as soon as I’m almost stopped. Starting to live it.

Did you try a different brand or type of pad? Mine has done this almost from the beginning of the install. I hate driving the car because it annoys me so bad.

Yes. Sent the first ones sent in for warranty, they squeaked again. I️ ordered new Ceramic’s, cleaned the rotors, greased everything, triple checked it all, still squeak.

Try a new caliper(s). (?) They're cheap as dirt.
Oh yeah...upgraded. Hmmm...

Did you lube the stainless hardware at both ends and the top? It's common for people to install the stainless hardware that fits in the caliper upside down.

I sprayed all the hardware with the disc quiet stuff. I don't think I installed it upside down....but I will pull it apart and try again. I'll actually use lube instead of the red spray.
Btw, it happens worse once it gets hot.

I used the synthetic lube on my wifes Honda and my Mazda and it stays put which is nice.
The standard lube seems to disappear after a short time.

I'm sick of fighting with it. I've got the Wagner pads on order and I'll lube everything nicely.

I use Raybestos Element 3 EHT pads, no issues.

It must somehow be Zack or Jerry’s fault. [emoji16]

I want a full refund for the time and money spent on this upgrade.
Or a set of engraved calipers painted black with silver letters!

It's the sound of those Chevy parts crying for mama.

Check the clips that the pads ride on in the bracket. I noticed one of ours was touching the OD of the rotor. I didn't do anything about it yet to see if it fixes the squeal we have.

Sounds like the rotors are glazed from an improper bedding-in when first installing them.
