First time at the track

Went to the track for the first time to see what my car has got. With the Tuner and 4:30's my best time was 14.506@96.42mph with a 2.155 60 ft. This was my first time ever so the time may increase with a little practice, all in all I was just happy to have hard facts for when people ask what it runs. I'm not sure if it's possible but with these numbers is there a way to know what i could have or should have run? If so please tell. Like i said this was my first time ever at the track, so i'm sure someone more experienced could have done better.

I'm still waiting to get mine to the track for my 1st time as well.i went there this past wednesday went to pay and they told me i cannot wear shorts .only longs.so i went to my brothers nearby to get some longs we started talking and i never got back to it.so maybe this wednesday i'll try again...

I guess it's respectable, but now I want more. I have plans for the TC headers and pullies which I hope will push me to mid 13's. Once I get there I think I'll be happy, after that... who knows.

The FULL Kooks set will push you the farthest in HP. Why do think all the guys that bought otherwise have secret projects of nitrous and s/c's....they weren't happy with other n/a numbers surpassing them.

When I was running the "Stage 1" kit (4.10's chip, plugs, stat) I was turning consistent 14.30's and some 14.20's. My best ever run with that combo was a 14.19. I was very happy that night. You'll need optimum conditions for runs like that (cool temps, low humidity, lots of traction on a well-prepped track).

When I had the Kooks system installed, I ran 13.80's consistent with a best of 13.74... the timeslip info is still posted here.

This was spur of the moment as I went to watch my buddy race his Camaro, I'm sure I will be going back in the near future so I can get the hang of it before I do any further mods. I'll get in touch next time I go. :up:

I so hungover I don't even remember that run at ENNIS.
Look at your trap speeds. I've had trap speed near 103 mph, yet I'm slower overall. Hmm...what is the difference beteween our setups....?.....oh yeah, the somethin' somethin' and the pair of.....sitting in my garage!
If you still have your same setup as ENNIS, and bring it to Indy. I'll pair with you. We'll see. Consider it your first grudge match. :rasta:

See, I don't have the PI t/c in yet, and all my runs are on a crummy track, with crummy tires. At Indy, I'll be ready, and the track will be the same for all of us.

All I can say is, better drop some weight there man!!! Cause this pneumonia has me down to a teenage 141 lbs. :baaa:
