overhead console light for Compass

I cant find any info on the overhead compass. how does one remove and replace the bulb? any help is appreciated thanks sb2463

This is how I did it:

1) Remove screw at the front of console.
2) Open sunglass storage compartment and remove two screws.
3) Disengage the six clip attachments by first pulling down on the front end
of the overhead console.
4) Remove the overhead console.
5) Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6) To install, reverse the removal procedure.

There is no bulb for the compass. If your compass doesn't light up then your either missing 1 or 2 resistors or the resistors are loose. I can repair the compass for you.

Thank you fastblackmerc, The car and I, are out of the country. Can it be fixed by a car electric guy here? I do not know how to open the area> Are there instructions somewhere I can get to show how to get in there? Parts info? You have helped me before. Thank you steve

I called the speed shop, in Dallas GA. They explained ho to get it out. I will go from there. Thank you for you help sb2463
