Another Milestone

Chalkin' up the miles much slower these days and yesterday we traversed another "Marauder Milestone"!!:beer: :bows: :burnout:

14K miles on my Shrader Forged Motor without a single hiccup!! :D

I rolled 135K on my 96 Cobra today.

I had planned for 500K on the OEM motor but it wasn't in the stars......bad fuel or a tuning anomaly cause a detonation meltdown 2 years ago!!:argue: :(

Upon disassembly we found the motor looked practically unused......cylinder bores, rod and mains, timing chain tensioners, cams....everything looked GREAT at 256K miles except pistons 6,7 & 8.....broken ring lands!!:eek:

New forged motor doing fine but not accumulating miles like I used to so she stay in the garage mostly!!:beer:
