Yesterday i was driving south on 306 in mentor between Lakeshore and Tyler Blvd when i pulled up next to a black marauder, spoiler, and maybe non-stock exhaust.I have seen him around for while but never talked to him. We talked back and forth at redlights and stopped traffic for just a few seconds, he said it was 2003 and he has 278,000 miles. I didn't ask but i wonder what the badge that is behind the front wheel, from what i saw i looked like a cobra or something that shape

Some people put Cobra emblems on their cars from the Cobra Mustang as they think the motor is a Cobra motor in Marauders. The motor is not Cobra derived, more derived from the Lincoln Aviator and Mustang Mach 1. The SVT or Special Vehicle Team also did not play a role in the car

After a few select mods it’s very close to a svt cobra engine so why not

A few tastefully modded MM’s such as yours can get away with Cobra badges IMHO

Can't stand the Cobra emblem's. The only fender badges You should have are these honestly.

The owner's name is Gene and he has been daily driving the car for as long as I've owned mine. Any time I see that car it's either on Lake Shore, 306, or Lost Nation. Definitely not stock exhaust (can't remember what he has though). He used to autocross it and it had a trailer hitch receiver on it for towing a jet ski. He runs those Cobra badges...

Thanks Bob, everyone knows it ain’t easy or cheap but worth it, the only cobra emblem is the SVT on the trunk lid and there was one on the blower.

If you're packin' an Eaton....then you are 'backing up' the SVT badges!

Interesting info. Never knew this, always thought that they were cobra motors wo forged internals and blowers.

And as Bob said, a few mods and 4dr cobra does fit in, I was not knocking your car whatsoever. Your car is thumbs up here
