I have a set of Drag radials I pulled from my mustang and replaced with some ET Street R’s. Going to sale the drag radials if they will not work with my gearing. Let me know. Thanks

no, they are shorter and skinnier than a 295,45,18

I would recalibrate the speedo for that tire and go drag racing

Yes they will work fine. What tuner do you have?

Change your revolutions per mile to 781 and go. You will be flirting with 5,900 in third according to calculators using a guesstimate of 112 trap speed. But I did that kind of quick without knowing your car so double check.

Use this site:

I used to run 245 45 18’s (IIRC) with 3.55 gears and I seem to remember going a wee past 6,300. But my mind is slowly fading..

The tire you propose isn’t all that much different from the height I ran. (See pic) But yes, your effective gear ratio will increase so change the revolutions like I mentioned and your shift points will be close to where they are right now. Mine would occasionally bang the limiter going into second but only occasionally.

I have an xcal 3. I’d have to find some wheels to use though. Not trying to buy racing wheels. Lol

Budget for and then get the correct wheels and tires.

You have an S/C Marauder, one of a very small number.

Never forget what is between you, your car and the concrete.

I mean the tires have very few miles on them, but they are better for an automatic car. If I can use them for the few times I’ll take the MM to the track I will

Just search for some 15 used mustang draglites or convo pro or whatever has the correct back spacing

You could probably buy 2 new 15 inch wheels for the price of one 18 inch drag radial

Drive to the track and swap them out.

I already have Nitto Drag radials now. They didn’t work well the last time I took them out. 305’s too. I know these Mickey Thompson’s will work for sure.
