I decided on a newer series oem tire replacement for the failing BFG'S .
They are ; G Max AS-05's
There were no reviews on them thus far.
Anybody else try them ?

I don't think most of us knew that General had a OEM sizes in a tire. They look good even similar tread to the Cooper RS3A so should be a pretty decent tire.

I saw one review on this tire , it was positive.
I have had good luck with General's on the 1986
F-250 S/C 4X2 460 CID HD Camper Special.
I transported so much weight but, blew Axle seals twice , before the tires gave up !

I ran some Generals on my Jeep and liked them. Made in USA which is a plus.

Might be some reviews on different size tires within the series your looking into. I bought my replacement tires partially based on what the Mustang guys were saying on the tires in sizes for their cars.

Thanks, Mr Man,
I drove my friend'$ Trilogy enhanced
Marauder on BFG'$ without the ,KDWS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES .
Without the rienforced rear sidwall, it was too unpredictable.
I hate mismatched tires, and tire issues period !

I drove back 60 miles on new General's,
Taking the back roads.
The ride was very predictable , no snow or
Sleet was present.
I didn't get the front struts installed , the new
Shop did not get the Spring compressor transferred.
We we're able to trouble shoot the intercooler pump.
The reason the intercooler pump would not run , was due to corrosion on the Plug connection.
The intercooler leak was a hose , at the water outlet.
The leaking hose was extremely difficult to remove,
Finally it let go with much persuasion.
I was reminded of a missing battery tie down wedge
I was missing, digging for a fastener.
Something for a new day !
The rear shocks got replaced , TPS sensor,
02 sensor, reset code.
