Thanks for the add!
Settled in the Des Moines area and needing reliable service for my '03 MM. Can anyone recommend the best Ford dealership for service (like I need to do a recall) and a garage for regular service?
Many thanks,
Craig

and if the recall is for the LCM, lighting control module, I don't recommend going to dealer, ford's fix is to hack into your wiring under the dash. If you can be without your car for a day or three. member fastblackmerc can repair your lcm with upgraded relays which many here have done with no issues. lcm is easy to remove yourself. memebrs here have been having the lcm upgraded here thru the forums long before Ford acknowledged an issue. so for the past 7-8 years or more done thru here.

Thanks RCR! Yep, you got it...LCM. I can probably manage w/o for a few days with my wife's Honda. Instructions for removal posted here or elsewhere online?

Check the local Mustang clubs in your area. They are usually a good place to start.

im sure we have instructions, let fastblackmerc get with you, he is on here daily. if you want to see what ford does, go to shop talk section, sticky thread on lcm ford documentation, read it abd see why we are against their repair

Good to see another Iowan on the forum although I have been transplanted to South Carolina. Still have family members just South of Des Moines.
Welcome to the Forum.

Yeah, dont have the dealer cut your wires, its a bad hack job to fix it now.
I would definitely keep the oem one and have someone upgrade the LCM
Welcome, im in kansas city
