Hi all.

I poked around a bit to see what others have done, as I am having traction issues with my Trilogy Marauder.

I have 'used up' the M/T drag radials to the cords last season, so, need new sneakers this season. I'm considering going down to a 16" wheel to take advantage of a taller side wall that will offer more contact with a wrinkle wall. Still want a 29 - 30" tall tire.

Last year, tires hit the top of the shock tubes, did all I could to avoid it, but spacing the lower mount did little to no good. I am running the M/T 305/45 18 on widened wheels.

Any one have a recipe that gets the wheels further out without using spacers?

Hoping to get after a couple guys this year, not going to make it with what I have been doing. A 1.88 60 foot will not cut it.

I’ve had no issues at all hitting mid 1.7’s on MT street S/S or BF Goodrich G Force T/A when I had the Trilogy.

I always ended up at around 15#s when dialed in.

It was the most consistent car I ever raced.

I will say it did NOT like to be tach’ed. Even with zero wheel spin I never achieved anything better than a 12.5 no matter how much or how little I gave it. Then one day I had the tree starting to count down and my mind was elsewhere so I left off idle and it was 12.1’s every single time since then..

Yeah, I don't load it up either, just go. I'm going to do some trans work and move up to a stall converter, so I'll need more stick for sure.

I've tried everything from 32 psi down to 22. 26 seems about the best. I drive around the water with my fronts and back in... If I can peel 2/10ths off the line, and another 2/10ths mid track from my sloppy trans, I'm where I want to be.
