I think the 3x is the issue. I'm a pretty good size fella, 6 foot 285lbs and a 3x is fairly loose on me.

How loose is "fairly"? I'm same weight, one inch taller. I'm normally OK with a "bit" loose, (better than a bit tight) because I'm always packing.

Not too loose in my opinion. Arms were a bit long and I've been said to have orangutang arms. So I'd say it's made for someone with broader shoulders as well. :dunno:

Id love to have a jacket, but i just wear a t-shirt and hoodie when its -20 out. lots of insulation i guess.
