Hi folks

Time for me to upgrade my exhaust.
Sorry for the Newbee question but is SW the only option available?
Or any one has another option besides SW?

I have the Kooks kit but it does go over the axle, had to have that custom made.

If you want full exhaust I would go with SW headers and have an exhaust shop custom bend one up with the mufflers of your choice. Don’t have to have mandrel bent but it’s nice. SW or Kooks are available but as far as bolt on I think that’s it.

Headers, rear cat delete and Muffler’s of your choice. If your car is stock for the most part then I would not even get headers IMHO

SW headers and cats with the rest stock sounds great.

Im sure it does. Im at 450hp and this car is choked like you have no idea.
Its got gobs of torque just choked top end. i just need to pull the plug and get the whole the shebang. I'm just trying to be a smart consumer and get the best bang for the buck.

Get the Stainless Works part: MAUCAT - comes with 2 3" cats.
BOLTS onto factory. I have MAUCAT and love it, installed myself.

You will gain about 50HP on a boosted setup.

Other things you may want with it: Lokar dipstick, Stage 8 plated locking header bolts.

Extra $: Ceramic Coating!

(Hi all, haven't been on in a while)

See Marty O at Mo' s speed shop here. he is a SW dealr and gets far better pricing than what you see. you,ll need a new tune for headers, what power adder do you have?

Motorhead350 has that and it sounds perfect IMHO. I went the full route and regret it.

If I get sw headers and exhaust can that damage a stock engine or transmission?

Not at all. Will need a tune so you won't "throw a code"

I have Kooks with their cats, rest of exhaust is stock. I for one am not sure I would spend the money on headers for these cars until you have done everything else except camdhaftss (very last thing you want to spend money on). The exhaust really does not choke these engines like some people think they do.

No headers will not damage a stock engine or transmission but I'd do other things like a tune and 4:10s before headers. Just my opinion
