Traded in the Marauder for a 2014 F150 at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville, Al. Taking a retirement, needed something with fewer miles.

Marauder had 158,000, F150 has 35,000.
Gonna miss it.

As an owner of an ‘04 Lariat, you picked the right thing to replace it with. [emoji1303]

I'm going to miss passing you on South Parkway on my way home. I hope you enjoy your new truck. Congratulation on your retirement.

Yea, but...why would you trade it? What did they "give" you $3000?

Alan Kulwicki FTW

Should've sold it on the open market to a member looking. That way you could've kept track of it.

You'll still see me for about a month going back and forth. Look for an F150XLT Battleship grey complete with silver torpedo armor. Which is appropriate, it is an extended cab, 8 ft bed with a matching camper shell. Only thing missing is heavy gun turrets.

Didn't want to go thru the hassle. Just spent 2 months trying to get rid of a Ram 1500. They gave me more than $3,000. Insurance due, The retirement is forced, The truck I wanted, andneed to cut monthly expenses.
A couple of the local Mustang club that new Paul T Casey are interested so it will be in good hands.

Boy ain't that the truth! I guess cuz it's popular to have a jacked up truck and racing around. now everybody thinks they're worth $20,000 and $10,000 used even if they have two and three hundred thousand miles on them. A course in Texas everything's bigger even the price:D

Totaled my 04 GMC Sierra CC Z71 in November of 2014. I was surprised when the insurance company gave me 13.7K for it, let me keep it, and did not issue a salvage title. Sold it for 2K. The truck was 10 years old and had 199K miles on it. I thought that was a ridiculous amount of money ... then I bought a 2015 in April of '16 and realized that new trucks were really stupid money.

Now, I use it as a truck. 41k miles already, and almost 4k towing ... Was in 4L the other day moving through a water logged field to get to a job site.

Market forces.
As long as people keep buying them the price will continue to rise.
Ford can't build the F250, Expedition and Navigators fast enough. They are sold while still on the assembly line = prices going up & up.

Who did you deal with at the dealership?

I bought my 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca from them, Jim Seigle was my salesman.

Part of the reason I sold my first Marauder was I needed a reliable vehicle for year round driving and a pickup truck for my home renovations. I bought a 2016 Silverado Z71 and the Marauder was sold to recoup some of the down payment. In hindsight, I should have kept the Marauder and bought a cheap beater truck. I hate having a shiny new truck that I’m afraid to use as a truck.
