The time has come to sell my Marauder.
I bought her brand new in December 2002.
MSRP was $35,000+....got her 'on the road' for $30,600 with the year end rebate.

It is pristine, with a few good mods.
Just 18,300 miles.
I just had the OEM 4.6L engine rebuilt with new bearings and rods.
Wayyy back when (2004), I spun several bearings while drag racing....with under 10,000 miles on the 4.6L engine.
I pulled the OEM engine, put it in my basement and replaced it with my now deceased Big Bore 5.0L. (split the block....)
The newly rebuilt 4.6L has steel oil pump gears, ported heads with +1mm valves, Crower Cams ($1,200!), extrude honed intake with plenum spacer.
Heads were port matched to extrude honed/ported intake. I installed the 'Head Cooling' mod to the back of both cylinder heads.
Alternator case, front timing cover and upper intake are all powder-coated silver. (they almost look white because of the flash pictures)
Lower intake is painted Hi-Temp silver.
Kook's headers with Hi-Flow Cats, X-Pipe and Magna-Flow S.S. 18" mufflers...OEM over the axle pipes and OEM MEGS tips.
Headers, pipes and Cats were HPC coated silver.
Transmission has J-Mod valve body, Hughes deep sump finned aluminum pan, and an additional B&M cooler (fan assisted) in series with OEM cooler.
Rear axle has a SVO aluminum Rearend Girdle, Redline Gear lube; OEM 3.55s
Rear rims are widened to 9.5" with P295 Nitto 555s and fronts are stock width rims with P255 Nitto 555s.
Suspension and brakes are OEM/bone stock.
Exterior has rear spoiler and a 'Pro-Guard under rear bumper along with "MARAUDER" front fender badges.
Windows are tinted at Maryland legal 35%.
Interior is spotless, the leather seats don't even have wrinkles!
Aluminum 'MARAUDER' foot pedals with custom dead pedal. Floor mats are 95% perfect.
'Some' additional gauges along with dual gauge A pillar.
If you don't like gauges....you won't like this Marauder!

Don't mind the missing coil covers...I pulled them off to check the spark plugs and didn't put them back on before shooting the pictures.

The Marauder is in the Baltimore, Md area.
Ready to drive home.
BTW: She still sounds awesome and she still moves!

I've researched its value and Hagerty, which takes into account rareness and future collectability, has the following listing for a Marauder:

#1 Condition - Concours : $26,200
#2 Conditon - Excellent : $19,500
#3 Condition - Good : $15,600
#4 Conditon - Fair : $10,000

I'm asking $19,000 OBO.

The dash gauge pod has Vacuum/Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges...never did get a blower on my Marauder....:(
Steering column gauge is Water Temperature
A pillar gauges are Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature gauges

Transmission Temperature gauge has 2 senders and a switch next to it.
You can read the transmission fluid temperature coming out of the transmission (hot) and returning to the transmission after the coolers.

I've got it listed for $20,500....I'd let her go for $20,000.
Nothing needs to be done to the car other than registering/tags.

I make positive comments about the cars for sale in these 'Marauders For Sale' threads and they are never approved. Do I have to buy someone off? Are the Russians (?!?!) hacking the board?

Unless you have first hand knowledge of the car to share with interested buyers, willing to look at a car for a buyer, or are an interested buyer, all comments, GLWS and suggestions are deleted. This is a Classified Section, not a discussion. Plain and simple.

Thanks for this. I now know the stringent rules for posting in Marketplace. Things must have really gotten out of hand to formulate this policy on a 'product specific' discussion board.

I understand the policy regarding posting in a 'FOR SALE' thread.
I'm guilty of (trying) to post comments in them too.
In the past, many a FOR SALE thread has devolved/exploded because of unwarranted comments.

I took the Marauder out for a nice 45 minute drive last night...man is this car fun.
I had totally forgotten about the 'LEO effect'... Kept laughing as car after speeding car would slam on their brakes once they saw me!
and by the time I got home I was figuring out how to do a Coyote/10 speed auto swap!!

SOMEONE HELP ME HERE!

Buy my Marauder before I start modding it again.

Lowered to $19,000 even.

Any lower and I'm tempted to shove it in my garage for another 5 years and at that point it'll be 20 years old and I can register it as 'Historic' in Maryland.
Then there's no inspection and no emission's testing!
In goes a Jon Kaase BOSS 521!

Car Cover is a California Car Cover 'NOAH Block-It'.

Included with the car.

I am not sure what they are called, but isn't this motor (in photos) missing the covers on to outside of each side of motor? Since this is a 2003 heads are black, and there should be two32Valve black w yellow script covers... Yes?

Yep...the coil covers were not installed when I took the engine pictures.
It is noted directly under the picture that I posted.

Met up with Joe and others from the local capital area for lunch. Nice bunch of people and am looking forward to getting my Marauder back from Marty's after an engine rebuild and other work.

In hindsight I would have been better off buying Joe's car. But, had a car that I thought was good, had some issues and now is costing me about the same as Joe's car.

So if you don't already own a one but want a nice Marauder, you should consider Joe's car. In the end you might end up where I am at now.

So, just a bump for those that may want a nice Marauder. Unfortunately, I am not a good enough weekend mechanic to do such major work. If you are similar, at least consider Joe's car.

Again, just passing on my experience for others to consider when pursuing the Marauder bug.

SOLD!

Stanford picked up the Marauder today.
Stanford also got a mint Godshead key fob, mint Leather jacket still in the zip-up garment bag, Promo poster, CD, 2003 sales brochure and a barely used car cover.

Unfortunately it was a rainy day but the Marauder still looked great.

It was sad to see the Marauder pull out of my driveway and head for Texas.

But it's now owned by a fellow Marauder enthusiast!
