CD player and changer inop

I get an error message when I insert a disc, or switch to
The disc changer .
Anybody else have this happen ?
Chicago parts and sound was who the Ford dealerships I worked for, used .
I was hoping for a reset code or something easy.

Could be dirty, bad disk, defective tray.

Could be dirty, bad disk, defective tray.

Both issues came at the same time with trying to play adisc./ consequence.
I have fed brand-new discs just to make sure it was not a
Inferior disc .
