I never knew SHM made underdrive pullies, how do these compare to Steeda?

IIRC....back when I bought the SHM pulleys, the Steeda balancer was a smaller diameter.
I didn't want to go to such a small diameter.
Now the Steeda pulleys look the same as my SHM pulleys.

I put an under drive crank pulley on my '98 GT - didn't affect anything negatively from what I could tell. Did it help? Dunno.

Here's what they claim:
•SFI Approved
•8 - 10 RWHP Recovery
•Improves Fuel Economy
•25% Reduction in Parasitic Accessory Drag
•Exceeds OEM Material Specifications
Slowing down the crank, water pump and the alternator pulleys does reduce parasitic losses in relation to RPM.
(If you have a big thumping stereo, you may not want these.)

I have a Steeda pulley. It was accidentally free when we discovered it on a car getting a Trilogy and needed a stock balancer. Mine was the donor. I increased the idle RPM ~300 after the install. I think the Steeda is a 15% decrease in accessory drive.

I believe all these claims are correct.
You'll need to adjust your idle speed via a tune.
