I have a tail light issue periodically

Sometimes I can drive my car at night and the tail lights are fine. I can tell when they aren’t working because my fog light on indicator isn’t illuminated. I can turn on the flashers for a few then my fog light indicator will light up and then I know my tail lights are working. My headlights and all other lights work during this time. What can this be?

I found this link but I think I remember having my LCM repaired and ungraded by fastblackmerc. I need to research to make sure

I saw on Facebook where a p71 guy had same issue

It ended up being the contacts inside (the brake switch)???

It was a grey box, 1 1/2 x 2 for the brake lights. It was a recent post2 days ago on cv.net on fb

Contacts burned up
