I have come to the realization that my car doesn't need to sit in the garage the rest of it's life and perhaps one of you "Marauder Lovers" would like to own it??:confused:
The car is in very good condition with 270 K miles on the body, trans rebuilt with J-mod (80K miles on it), rear rebuilt at same time, brakes, upper control arms, front wheel bearings, shocks all less than 70 K miles.
Motor gave up at 256 K miles (ring lands and bent rods....bad fuel??) and had a complete forged rebuild with Cobra Eng. cooling mod by Shrader Performance in January 2016......conservative tune made 358 RWHP and 376 RWTQ....could be turned up from there but I have not done anything further.....lotsa fun like it is!!:beer::burnout:
Just put new tires all around 295 Nittos on the rear and 255 Kumhos up front.... the car drives as good as ever getting 16 MPG around town and 20+ MPG on the Interstate.:D
I have only put 13 K miles on it since the motor was built.......no leaks...starts and runs perfectly!!
It has a Hi-speed Aluminum DS, Addco front and rear sway bars, Metco control arms, aluminum trans pan, CV exhaust dampers, Grand SS exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, ScanGauge II in dash, Escape Radio, Garmin GPS and lotsa spare parts which I may or may not include.
Asking $15,000 which covers the forged engine build, new tires and the ProCharger......the car without those is worth about $4,000!!;)
I will not sell locally since most "Local Enthusiasts" want to install WAGON WHEELS and paint cars LIME GREEN........I'd part it out first!!:shake:
