From what Ive seen online and in person everybody seems to go the supercharger/procharger route. Can decent power (4-500) be made from a NA MM? Can that be achieved With cams, stroker crank, ported heads, headers and larger tubing throughout the exhaust system, and any other myriad of mods. Thanks

The best you can do NA is probably around 400RWHP in a Marauder. That will cost you huuuuuge $$$$$ however

NO....
Don't waste your time and money.
I dumped over $7,000 into a built 5.0 Big Bore with all the goodies.
Made 325 HP/340 TRQ at the wheels. (about 400 HP at the crank)
Ran 12.9s N/A.
Would I do it again? .....NO!!!
Get forced induction for the weak 4.6 or go straight to a (bullet proof) OEM Coyote 5.0.
Actually....now that the 2018 Coyote is making an (under-rated) 460 HP....I wouldn't waste a dime on modding a 4.6. (It was a neat engine.....15 years ago.)

You will have at least this much in forged parts and labor and still looking to supercharge it. Just go balls out and swap it.

I recall a shop up in Canada back in the day who would build the Marauder 4.6L up to a N/A 5.2L (317ci) with all of the good pieces - seems like he was only getting around 375 hp as I remember. Don't know how many motors he built but we do know Trilogy built 250 kits...

Don't waste your money. If you just want to make the car more fun, go supercharger with conservative tune.

5.4 DOHC. Find a Boss 290 Intake. The Boss 290 cars in stock trim made 390hp @ 5500 and 380ft-lbs of torque @ 4500. I have Seen the Aussies make over 500whp N/A from these engines. Of Course If I would to go that route I would source a 5.8 Shelby short block.
