I've heard the signal flasher is in the lighting control module is there any way to slow down the flash after putting LED lights in

resistor at each bulb, or electronic flasher, but not familiar with which kind

I can fix you up with a flasher. You'll need to cut into one of the harnesses to the LCM. I provide very clear instructions with the kit.

What's the positive of the Flasher compared to the resistors

Lighting circuit is using less power with the LED bulbs. Resistors will draw the same amount as incandescents.

Plus a ton easier working in one spot, wiring not exposed to elements, and hot resisters scattered at all four corners. I did the flasher and don’t recall it being anything I’d consider real work.

I'll be doing this modification similar to LarryO did here ---->
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAgDFtgu7Q4

But first I need to find donor LED taillights from a Mercury Montego.
I'll be using an electronic flasher to do this only once and correctly the first time. Modifications to the electrical system are not where you want to pinch pennies.

My man, everything you need to know is in the easy to follow link I posted. Here is an image that is in the same link. Look up the colors and obviously test them before cutting.
