I just completed my Escape upgrade and I'm very happy with it.
I now have a fully functional OEM head unit available. Since most folks on here seem to have done some sort of upgrade on their own, this probably will have little interest. I guess if there is someone out there who simply must have absolute stock, this is a must-have.
However, this 120K head unit worked fine when pulled out of the car. No FM or AM drop-out or lack of tuning. AM sound was muddy but what do you need for talk radio anyway?
I have the CD Trunk Player too, but it does not work. It skipped randomly for a few months then quit altogether. I only kept it in case someone wants use it for the CD magazine or the brackets.
Make an offer by PM. If it gets no interest I'll try another avenue like eBay or our friend Craig. I can supply lots of pics if needed.
