Adam reminded me when metioning controls,

There seems to me to be no visual indication of when the cruise control is on. I know I can tell by feel but....

"Cruise Control" and an "Oil" warning light were left off. The reason given for the oil, was the non-working Autometer gauge...I've never seen a reason for the omission of the 'Cruise" light.

Saving $$$$$'s......It would probably take $0.25 worth of wire and a $0.50 lamp?? ;)

It adds up......ya know!!!

I wonder if the '03 and later GM/CVs got the cruise control light? Anyone know?

Maybe when I put the cruise control on the voltage meter will drop enough and that will be my clue. That is abosolutey nuts that they eliminated that light, yes it all adds up but.... I even noticed how much cheeper the warning light look than on my other cars. They all seem to be square lights with black lettering where the better warning lights have the lettering lit up - looks cleaner, more modern.
