Found a place that will custom make a billett grille any way you like. They can make the identical one as the factory (Vertical) without badge and then black powder coat it.
Also can make a regular billet grill (horizontal).
They said it would cost about $300 and would need the Grill sent to them. They are in Orange County California.

You sure they do not require a minimum order?
We tried this on the Mark VIII board with several different companies and they all wanted aa minimum order.
I have a guy Im working on here locally to do the "Badgeless" version I made in PS7.
Ill let you all know his contact info if he chooses to do it.

This is a custom place and said that someone in their shop can make the Marauder grill.
I spoke to Devin (at the LA Auto Show) and his toll free numner is 1.800.598.5555
They mostly do custom work on trucks but also do work on cars.
They specialize in custom Grills and Bumpers.
Who knows, maybe when they see the MM grille they will have a problem. However, he seemed like it was no big deal.

I have a good friend in AZ that got the first Toyota Tundra sold in Tucson.Nobody had any aftermarket stuff for that truck. He contacted a co. in CA that would make a grill for him if he sent his in as a sample.
They built a proto type off of his and only charge something like $75 for it.(to him) It came out great.
Problems?
It took them almost 3,yes I said THREE months to get it back to him!
Luckly he had his beater truck to drive because without a grill theres a big hole in the front of your truck.Or Car.

Anybody made any progress on a custom grille? I thought about a CVPI honeycomb grille but the shape is a little different on the housing surrounding the grille, it's not quite as deep, and it has the blue oval mount for the emblem made into it.

Trenz makes custom grilles too. I am pretty sure they will make one offs for you if you want. They do billet everything. So, you can probably get anything you want. Their "mass produced" grilles for like F150 and such are rather pricey. I would hate to see how much a custom grille would be.

OK people,
After a year has past, has anyone found an aftermarket grill for $300 or less? Inquiring minds want to know ...
