This past Sunday I decided to take a trip west.... Ohio of all places, west Ohio at that... on my way there I should've known it was going to be bad... rain from St Clairsville to my destination...:shake:
Anyway get to my destination and phone the individual I was meeting...:help:
Get to his house and we sit and talk for a few, introducing ourselves and whatnot...:eek:
Then I'm asked if I want to hear his Marauder start up...:rolleyes:
Of course why not, we take a few minute ride to the secret location to see this Merc. Once we get to the secret lair, he opens the garage door and what to my eyes do I see a freakin DTR Marauder...:puke:. I mean of all colors DTR, the slowest of em all, Blue...nope; Silver...nyet, not even Black... oh god what a shame... he then starts it up... ON MY GOD, this thing sounds like crack whores at a brothel all meeting their ecstasy at once.... :eek: and that wasn't all, the engine bay was full of all kinds of doodads to make this thing go fast... IT'S A DTR... they ain't goin fast... heck DTR's are slower than Cheech and Chong smoking one up... :bandit:....and the paint....sheesh... I seen coal in a goats arse look shinier... the wheels were a shame... spinner center caps???... might as well paint the car purple with 26's and called it Barney, at least he was more popular than a DTR....:D Then he opens the door and I check out the interior... looks like the space shuttle... lights all over the place... then the seats.... from a racecar....:hide:...don't need racecar seats in DTR...:rofl:...
At this time we decide it's time to turn this thing off. We head back to his place and shoot the poop for a little more and finish my trip there... say our good byes and I head on my way back home...through Ohio, in the rain with a bad sight of a god aweful DTR stuck in my head and leather seat covers that he made me pay 8.01 in loose change...that was weird but oh well... I do know I would only give him 7.98 for his DTR as he was asking way too much at 8.00
Why would anyone buy a DTR and try to make it go fast is unbelievable. Glad I don't own one.
The story above is a figment of my imagination as Darren has one hell of a ride that anyone would be proud to own. Thank You Darren for making a long ride that much enjoyable. I would greatly enjoy shooting the sht with you again.
