So wanted to wait, but the excitement is killing me. Came home for a funeral and found out I am getting divorced. Will be finalized end of next week. Thanks to my wife leaving me, I now have the money to buy a marauder again. Not just any marauder, my marauder that I sold to MGDriver. He has been amazing and is such a great guy that he is letting me buy it back. He tried talking me out of it and said to buy one here in the states and that I could get a better one for the same money. I told him it wouldn't be the same. Too much sentimental value and love into that car. So he is going to be buying one from here in the states and shipping it over. He wants to try for a red or blue as there are none in Europe, so if u have one for sale for a good deal, hit him up. So excited!!!!! Will hopefully land in Germany Saturday the 28th and will be in my name hopefully the 30th!!!!!!!! My divorce gift to myself. But will NEVER sell her again.

Sounds familiar. My Mustang's original owner's wife was the driving force behind him having to sell and replace with a Honda Accord. I met her - a very shrill woman - not the first marriage for either. Had it been me I would have kept the car! Their loss - my gain.

Well... have drivetrain plans when I come back stateside. But while here, going to do suspension and brakes for sure. Maybe swap to 4.10 gears and 31 spline axles and track lock 31 spline 8.8

Munster -great news about getting your car back! It was an epic rebuild, I really enjoyed reading about it. Sorry about the old lady, there's many, many other Marauder lovin' chicks out there just waiting for ya....now get out there and start cruising! (when you're ready).

Military marriages suck, but now your single with a German chick magnet. Have fun with it. Don’t wait till you get to the US to boost it because boost gets laid.

Doesnt make sense to boost it now and then motor swap and boost that. Want to upgrade everything else to make sure it will handle the power. Then getting completely different engine and trans

Congratulation, some of the few things we have left are freedom.

My wife saw the Parnelli Jones Marauder video and said buy it. That was a Friday in July of '02. Bought it the next day.

So yeah my Silver Birch ownership was very short lived, only had it 4 months before MunsterBro asked me to buy it back, all of which it just spent sitting in my garage. Basically just stored it for him in the end, never got to enjoy it as I only planned to get it on the road next month. Lucky for him because I know for fact if he had asked after I started to drive it I would have definitely said no. Will probably regret it in a few months down the line, I'm just too nice sometimes.

The reason that made me sell it back to him is not only that I felt sorry for him but also because the car isn't matching numbers anymore. It's got a replacement motor which over here, where the Marauder is already a collectors car, is a big value killer. Didn't really matter to me in the first place, still an amazing car that I could have had lots of fun with but it'll just never be a collectors cars which really hurts resale value over here.

My new plan is now to go Marauder shopping in the States which I originally tried to avoid, really hate having to deal with shipping and importing, and try to find a nice DBP or DTR. If you have any leads please let me know.
