I spoke with the previous owner of my Mustang yesterday, first time in years. He mentioned Extreme Mustangs next door in Monroe - never heard of them even though they've been around for many years. Sent an inquiry through their website and they responded stating 'anything Ford - Mercury - Lincoln'. Can find no negative comments - will drive over at some point. Anyone here ever heard of them?

It will be worth your while to drive the 200+ miles to visit Marty at Mo’s Speed Shop in Hiram, Georgia.

I have talked to the owner a few times @ Zmax when he was running his mustang. Clean shop and seam to be good guys. I have not had any work done. I have always headed to GA.

Comments noted. Haven't ruled out Mo's Speed Shop but thinking I'll give the local guy a fair shake first. Going about this incrementally. CAI and 'tune' first. Possibly gears, torque converter, nothing serious. Happy with my Mustang with only a CAI and tune, completely stock otherwise (drivetrain). Nothing else planned for the 'stang.

Was happy as a clam with my '98 despite a 70 rwhp deficit compared to my '05. It had CAI, tune (chip), shift kit, torque converter, aluminum driveshaft, gears and underdrive crank pulley. Only about a 21 rwhp improvement over stock but it felt like 100 rwhp! A true pleasure to drive and money well spent. Unfortunately, it met an early demise but it's spirit lives on in my present car!

Thanks for this.

Have never been into the local Mustang scene. Attended a dyno pull where an australian manufacturer rep was demonstrating his mobile dyno for a nominal fee and made a couple of trips to a dyno in Belmont with my previous car.

Attended Goodguys and Food Lion Auto Fair a hand full of times, last being well over 10 years ago. I was even a misfit in the local Triumph rider's group but their turnover was well above average anyway. I just 'go my own way!' as Triumph advertising often states.
