So are the parts store brands of motor mounts (Pioneer, Anchor, Westar, etc.) holding up or would you guys recommend FoMoCo units? The reason I ask is I am putting a Coyote motor in my '70 F100 with a CV IFS. I will start the motor naturally aspirated to get any bugs worked out and then rework things for a Precision 7275 and intercooler. I need something that will hold the power and see that quite a few of you here have forced air setups and wanted the input before buying the mounts.

Part numbers I have for the FoMoCo units are:
Left - 3W1Z-6038-BA
Right - 3W7Z-6038-AA (non-PI/Taxi)
Right - 3W7Z-6038-BB (PI/Taxi)

That is good news. Anyone have a source for the OEM mounts for less than $125 for the pair? Seems to be the going rate from the dealerships online. The parts store units are about $55 for the pair but if the $125 for the OEM is as good as it gets then I will just go that route.

After a little more digging I came across the FoMoCo part number for a police interceptor/Taxi right side motor mount. They are more expensive and I was wondering what the difference was so I search quite a bit on the net and then finally posted over on crownvic.net. One of the members posted up and provided the attached picture that shows the differences between the two right side motor mounts.

With that you can see that the PI/Taxi unit has a heat shield which makes sense if the exhaust is close by with the additional idling time these cars can see versus a civilian unit. I am just going to go ahead and order the one with the heat shield in case it helps out with routing the down pipe for the turbo.
