2004 4R70E rebuild

Picked up a transmission core from Marty at Mo's speed shop. The transmission came out of a 2004 Mach 1 Mustang. I am told the car made one pull on the dyno and the transmission lost all forward gears.

I got the transmission apart and found the forward clutches were cooked and the intermediate stub shaft was sheared.

I used this transmission as a core to go in an F-150 2wd truck. Full rebuild was done with new seals, gaskets, clutches, steels and bands. valve body was rebuild with new sonnax shift valves, Tuff plate and the plate is drilled to Jmod spec.
