Help Identifying White Plastic Vacuum(?) Line

I have my trans out and was poking around. I found this white plastic line coming out of the driver side firewall. I believe it is part of the parking brake release. Is it supposed to be open like the pic or should it be connected to something? Is it vacuum? Or a drain? There is a vacuum tee with the bottom port capped off on the firewall that this line could be connected to, if that's the right spot for it.

04’s all have it. Both ends go to nothing. On ‘03’s it is used for the parking brake release.

It makes a nice easy chase for 1/8” vacuum tubing for boost gauges. [emoji1303]
