Well I tried to get the label but here's the reply I got from the Ford Label Headquarter!!! "This Decal is already on the replacement shields. This decal was never issued to us."

So you can't buy the label, you must buy the whole site shield. Another Ford "Better Idea" :down:

Sorry, Ray :bigcry:

NOPE!

Or atleast that's what I learned. It's another one of those marauder parts not sold separately. You must buy the entire shield, only to find another bad label.
I tried to get one last summer.

If by chance you are successfull, let us know, cause we ALL have bad bubbled decals.
Well, I hate to say I told you so.......:shake: :rolleyes: :nono:
Thanks for trying Ray.:alone: <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

I took my lable to the dealership so they could order me one, they filled out a request form, got my VIN.#, and said it would take up to four weeks to get back. That was two weeks ago, I called today and they said, "not yet, it takes awhile to make them", so in another couple of weeks I'll know if they were BS-ing :bs: me or what. :confused:

NBC, go open your hood, look down and to the left, it's the yellow info sticker on the radiator/condenser shield.

Mine was installed upside down from the factory. I kept that way on purpose. It is a testimony to the unrelenting quest for quality by Ford Lincoln Mercury. Some of you may remember my car also had the steering column shroud for a column shift. The guys at the shop said that was the "his/hers" shifter option.

Just got a call from my dealer stating the same thing....had me wait atleast three weeks to tell me this. :alone:
Well, in two weeks I go in for my 15,000 mile service and this will be a claim under the waranty, I will request a new shield with the lable on it since my lable is not on my shield. :mad2:
I will not pay $32.00 for a :censor: shield("Thats what they quoted me") when all I need is the lable. That lable is a requirement for service purposes and I want mine. :fire:
Someone has to put that lable on the shield because I know the shield isn't molded and made with the lable on it, :lol: it's ridiculous the stuff we have to go thru just to get some service. It's a crying shame. :bigcry:

Went in for my 15,000 miles service on 29 JUN. 04 and the service rep. ordered me a new radiator shield under warranty, just received it today, new shield with lable on it. :rock:
Must be a 2004 shield because it was different than mine (2003). :confused:
Anyways, the lable is the correct one and it looks good.
I will make sure to be careful when washing under the hood to avoid messing up the new lable.:up:
