MartyO and his wife came to my hotel last wednesday evening and picked up my Mercury Marauder for its appointment at Mo's Speed Shop in nearby Dallas, GA. I'm pleased and completely satisfied with their hospitality, competence, pricing and accurate billing. I must state that MartyO, his staff and 88grandmarq nailed this car down perfectly IMO.
I was looking for a faithful recreation (within reason) of the original 335bhp Mercury Marauder Sedan proposal and I now have it IMO (sans supercharger on SOHC Modular Motor). Engine is notably more muscular and the transmission shift map is perfect. Car was pleasurable to drive before and now it is even more so in a major way. The reliability - durability improvements should help Marauder live longer too.
I highly recommend MartyO, his staff and 88grandmarq for any Marauder work at what I believe to be the last remaining active Marauder specialist in North America. Many Thanks to everyone for acting on my behalf in this matter.
