Any benefit of gutting the pcv valve? The driver side looks gutted to me but the passenger side is not which makes me wonder is there any good in gutting it or just leave it? And what is the bad thing if i gutted it?

Study how a pcv system works then decide.

The DS isn't gutted. Its the inlet to the system

Go ahead and gut it. See what happens.

I didn't understand the closed PCV breather system either and put an open breather on my car that is sold by a vendor on this very site. My car ran fine but it is not the right thing to do so that the engine is ventilated as intended.

You should have mentioned this first. The easiest way to retain a functional PCV system on an Eaton swap is to swap it to the drivers side with a grommet, and to use the passenger side as merely an easy way to hook up the fresh air side and utilizing the valve as a hose hook up. By doing this, yes you need to gut that valve to allow fresh air in.

The actual PCV (now on the drivers side gets hard piped to the back of the blower. If you use just hose it will collapse on itself.

Lol, my favorite is an open breather on one side and PCV line still retained on the opposite:P

And the complaints about fumes in the passenger compartment.
