Which Alternator Company?

DB Electrical or PowerBastards.com? I was removing the trilogy alternator bracket to replace my new serpentine belt and snap goes the stud ontop of the alternator when I tried to push the boot back to take off the nut. Smh. Welp time for a new alternator, which company should I use? Probably do the 200amp version either way.

I recently installed a DB electrical alt. So so good.

Few shops around, have to check into them honestly. If I'm not crazy, when I search for a 2003 Grand Marquis alternator it looks the same as the MM 4G Alternator without the clutch style. Pulley looks the same as whats used with our trilogy kits.

I found a local shop Im going to they rebuild in house. I'll rather go that route then the autozone route. They can swap over my pulley onsite, hell if I know where that alternator tool is lol.

Was just asking yesterday about the MM alternator at Ford. Guy said the listing comes up as 'all other than Marauder'. So the MM alternator has its own specific part number. Should be no confusion as to the correct one from Ford at least.

PowerBastards, mine has been running good since 2010. I even sent it to them after a year without the receipt because it was squeaking and they replaced the bearings for free.

Found one at a Ford dealer. They was nice enough to swap my pulley over at no charge.
