Ran the car through a car wash today (hood closed). During the drying process they leave driver's door open the whole time. When I started it up I had a CEL light on for the first time ever. On the way home, I stopped at a flaps and they put their scan tool on it which showed both banks running lean.
Any thoughts? Thanks

Clear the code(s) and see if they return.
Both banks running lean, check all the hoses in and around the intake, including the intake tubes themselves sounds like a lot of unmetered air making it in after the MAF sensor.

I disconnected the battery for more than 5 minutes and then ran car briefly with no light. Will see how it does on a longer drive. Thanks

Takes more than "briefly" for all the I/M monitors to run after the battery is disconnected.

Drove car for about 45 minutes in town and on highway with hard acceleration and the light has stayed off so I guess I'll just keep an eye on it. Kind of hard to miss that yellow rectangle. Thanks.
