I want to provide Marty some examples of what I mean by a clean, awesome engine bay. I have posted some pictures below.
Ask #1:
I sincerely appreciate additional pictures of what you consider a clean, awesome looking Marauder engine bay.

Ask #2:
Beyond known pictures, what else would you suggest. Something like painted metal covering left and right fender wells (see picture below), different coloring for the valve covers (like gun metal or blue to match the fuel rails. etc.)

The last engine in your post is (Paul) Blackened300 his car is now Trilogy powered.
Chris did have a nice whipple so does Sherminator. Jerry's taxi is nice and whatever Motown is working on it will be top notch.

Did you ever peek into the wire tucked whipple Jerry has? I did some work on it, wires were lengthened with speaker wire. Not that it won’t work, but I would have cut apart a harness or bought the correct wires with corresponding colors and wire size. Just my 4.6 cents.

Considering that the 8,200 rpm 5.2L Coyote in the GT350 lays down about the same RWHP ....467 -> 475 (529 HP at the crank)...
I highly doubt that claim.
Or else that 464 is Ricer HP.

Nothing wrong with the dyno. SAE smoothing set @5
93oct., stock displacement. Heads and valvetrain were heavily worked.

Doesn’t look like a Dyno Jet sheet. Dyno wars are kind of useless unless you have a clear objective for tuning. Street performance and a mild tune equals a longer lasting engine. If you take it to the limits make friends with a engine builder or transmission shop. What’s in your pocket? 400+ in a 4.6 or 5.2 seems extreme. Not sure if dollars spent to get there is worth the results. Anyway, have fun and burn some rubber :alone:

Mine was quoted at $2600. In a phone conversation with Spectragod one weekend, I learned from him the intense effort he put into producing his true carbon fiber unit.
After numerous attempts to get the look I wanted, I gave up. CA price got to be ridiculous. In the end, I elected to hydrocoat a plastic one. Although it looks good in a picture, a great carbon fiber, high gloss unit, which is treated on both sides, is magnificent.

It moves is the understatement of the year, the Chevy, had to be a 572 minimum, built car, decided to choose off Mr. Whipple on an undisclosed road in Mexico, we were in #4 lane, #3 has a Honda Element and #1 is the Bad azz 66-67 chevelle, mini tubbed, DR’s, nasty sounding motor with a whole lotta HP, Mr. Chevy does a 40 foot burnout, Jerry does maybe a 2 foot knock the rocks off the tires burnout, maybe 2 seconds, people in Element are terrified, we may as well be car jacking them, light turns green, right front on Chevy is almost off the ground, he has Jerry solid for maybe 3 feet, 4.0 liter whipple does its thing, we are a solid 95mph on the other side of the intersection, car has azz end kicked out, it has some but not enough traction, we are almost sideways 115-120 smoking the tires in 2 lanes ( good thing we’re in Mexico), top fuel driver Jerry gets out of it, we get to the next intersection and wait a couple hours for the chevelle to get there, and was he pizzed...
He rolls his widow down and blames his performance on weight (4 guys in car), Jerry tells him to put his fat azz on a diet..... I thought we were going to get in a fight..... good times

Vacuum secondarys but 1 to 1 linkage out of a modified turn buckle similar to one used on a screen door.
Ran it at the drags years ago a few times with the same short block but fuel injection tuned with a tweecer but wasted a set of 295 50 18 BFGs had just purchased in spring. It had 3.55 gears at the time. The better i tuned it the worse it was out of the hole due to wheel spin. bought a pair of slicks the next year as well as a new st of the BFGs. but never went back. car is really set up for open track. ran it in some fun days in autocross events in which it out did many sports cars like BMWs, porches, 370 Zs. I found one of my issues was valve float at 6400 RPM because i used dual springs from when the heads were on my 84 mustang that had 180k on them. i replaced them with beehive springs and titanium retainers. on a test drive after that on the street. shifted at 6400 rpm from 1 to 2nd. then went up 200 rpm shift points from 1 to 2 until i reached 7200 rpm. at that point i was in front of our local ford dealer. hit second at 7200 and blew pieces of the rear gears bearings and bearing caps out of the rear cover.
some pics of the injected set up before converting same engine to carbs.

these are pics of the original engine with ported E7 heads, ported factory lower and upper lopo intake, 5.0 throttle body, 5.0 mustang cam. dynoed at 300 ft lbs of torq at rear wheels. it got 22 mpg in town and 32.9 highway. one of the yokes that kept the lifters from rotating broke and destroyed the engine.

I want the thank my parents, my crew and all the people out there who rooted for me. Things go faster in the Silicon Valley, so I knew I could do it. :)
Why did I post a fake Dyno? I made a bet with four people I could beat Fordnut's 378 NA record. The bet has taken 1.5 years too long to settle, but that is another matter. The bet still stands, but only the 378 mark; not 404 or OMG 464. Regarding 464, I surrender - out of my league.

FordNut is who dyno'd at 378 RWHP.
He did it with a 5.3L N/A engine IIRC

This cracked me up. Jerry tried to one up me in a race once. I just rear ended him. Of course, we were both tipsy so it was a no fault...
