I have received private messages asking the cost to ship in a covered transport, one-way from Silicon Valley, CA to Dallas, GA (MO's Speed Shop). The answer is $2276.00 I had edited the quote below to protect the guilty and ignorant.

Other carriers were as much as $650 less, but Marty said use Reliable. Practicing my new listening skills.

I've used Reliable Carriers twice to deliver two Marauder's to Mo's They are worth the extra cost to me. Zero issues, quick service once picked up. Both times mine were last car on , first car off.

The driver of the transport that brought your car was impressively professional. That’s why they get my recommendation if there are not budgetary constraints.

You know most carriers charge more for a non running vehicle ?

I have a whole new concern: there seems to be no protection from the car above you leaking whatever onto your car; especially, the paint!

$100, but my car runs. I just do not want anyone driving the car.

I doubt they'll let you drive it onto the carrier yourself....

Reliable trailers have drip pans in the floor if i remember correctly, they don't put drippy cars on top rack, they also keep plastic sheeting and no you won't be driving the car on to trailer. Reliable are not hack drivers, you will most likely have an owner operator haul from West to east. His whole livelihood is based on delivering cars without drama.

I have used them from Monterey to St Louis. They did all they said they would. Others would not commit to any time schedule, not on pickup & not on delivery.

I mislead everyone. I did not mean I would be driving the car on the trailer and Marty off; I meant the car must be loaded and unloaded (guessing an electric winch). Thus, I paid $100 extra and listed the car as not running.

So you listed it as non running, they quote you more for this, then you admit it actually runs, yet you want it winched on and off the truck, and you’re complaining about the price ?

I’ve used Intercity Lines twice and was completely happy with their service and schedules.
Try giving them a call for a quote and tell them the car runs. See if there is a major difference in prices.

I don't believe he is complaining if price, it's $100 for non running. A minor amount in $2600 transport

No clue as to Reliable, but when I shipped my car to Lidio's, the shipper had me drive my car onto the truck....
