Hi guys I know there are plenty of supercharging threads and lists on here, and I've looked on a few of them already, but if anyone could tell me yes or no as far as this being worth my time and Being adaptable to my vehicle I would greatly appreciate any input and knowledge that you guys could offer as far as what else would I need besides I'm pretty sure a lower intake.. thank you very much in advance guys!https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1843661565727881/

No, its for a 2V engine

No, its for a 2V engineYes I'm aware. Maybe I should rephrase my question.. All the parts are new. Could I use this charger and some of the parts with a lower intake for a 4v and do some parts scrounging to make this work? Or is the supercharger not compatible at all with a 4v Due to case design/length ? I believe I can buy it for $2500. Basically trying to figure if it's worth the trouble of going That route and it's Enough of a deal to do so and chase the rest of what I need to complete the installation. Or if it would be a really expensive paperweight. Not trying to ask a million stupid questions but I won't pop on it if it will be useless. But don't want to pass it up if I could Cobble something together without going crazy.

If you can fabricate, yes you can use the SC.
You'd have to make an adapter plate
Add an intercooler and a lower intake
You may be able to use the idler plate but be prepared to address belt routing because it's a single belt drive setup

KB sold a 2.1L 4v kit back in the day for Mach1/2k Cobra it too was a single belt drive.

A 2.2 could be risky on a stock internal motor unless you keep it lower boost and hp..might need to change pulley.

Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciated. I can fabricate to a degree but unless I can score it for next to nothing then the juice probably isn't worth the squeeze.

So, I see this guy has another set up for sale. Same as the one in the link above. How hard is it to install one of these on an 03 stock Marauder?

Thank you,
Joe

It's really pretty easy for someone handy with normal tools. It looks pretty complete of the large items. I don't see an Intercooler pump, fuel pumps or injectors. You will need a tuner and a tensioner too. All in all its a pretty good deal if you don't want to search for the parts separately. Especially since it comes with those swap brackets.

I also don't see the coolant tube that runs under the manifold but I'm told you can smash the oem one. You will also need a fuel rail(which I have and will ship you free if you do this).

Thanks for the feedback. I am really torn on this. I like the idea of the additional HP but also like the fact the car is stock and reliable.

The IC pump, 42lb injectors, and fuel rails are included with the sale Mack.

Small list of goods and someone is boosted :burnout:

Nice. Thanks for clearing that up I was I ly looking at the picture and missed that. In that case yes it is a greater deal.

And to the op as far as reliability. I felt the same way and loved the reliability of a stock car. If I had to do it over, the one thing I would have changed is I would have done it years sooner. It's hard to describe how fun this particular body and frame is with this much power. I've owned faster cars that handle way better, but I never had as much fun as I do in this one. Super sleeper status is also a good part of it.

There is zero difference in reliability unless you beat on it or fudge up the wiring or don’t pay attention to items that can rub and it bites you in the ass months or years down the road.

Ok but I wonder about the parts themselves being reliable. They are not new and who knows how many miles were put on them.

^^^If that's your worry then you should stay N/A.
All the parts posted are stock meaning they have no problem hitting 100,000mi before the first service.

Way too many Marauders out here running used Eatons and none of them had that concern

How do the brackets in that kit compare to the one Jerry makes? Same idea?

Same strength!
Trilogy brackets started it all
