I've been part collecting for over a year and I finally got the Eaton swap on my Marauder and started it up. Still needs a dyno tune but it runs! Just thought I'd share it with some folks who would appreciate that.

Part of the cool factor (at least for me) was the blower, injectors, intake and some other fun stuff came off my own 03 Cobra.

Lidio. I wanted to actually have it on the Dyno and he's relatively close to me. i tried remote tuning my last car and it just takes forever if you have any kind of complications.

The trick with remote tuning is to have patience and also to have the car debugged and ready to tune. At least that’s what we’ve found.

The plan is to NOT blow it up. lol I opted to keep the stock upper and lower pulley

I put a VMP blower on my Cobra and I have been remote tuning since late May. 5 months later, it's still not done. The datalogs sometimes take weeks and I'm running out of nice weather to do street pulls so it may not even be done until next year. If that's the case, I'll probably end up taking it to a local Dyno.

I'll leave the tuner anonymous but i will say it's nobody on this site (I hear Marty is excellent!!!). I'm sure remote tuning is a good way to go I just had a bad experience.

Agreed. I had some equipment issues and marty was patient enough to get done what he could. I fixed the issue and wouldn't you know it took him maybe 4 runs up the road and it was done. Grateful doesn't come close to my feeling for his abilities, but much more importantly his willingness to keep at it when things out of his control aren't perfect.
Sorry you are having problems with your tuner. As you have probably already read You cannot go wrong with Marty. I just wish we lived closer!

There are so many eaton files for Marauders, the likelihood of it being almost spot on the first time is good.

Results are in! 375 rwhp with 17* of timing. I kept it pretty conservative, maybe too conservative. I was hoping for at least 400 rwhp.

I'm going to retune with a 2# lower or 4# lower. For all you Veteran Eaton swappers, can you guys advise? Obviously, the 4# is what I would like to do but safety first!!! I strongly prefer my motor in one piece.

I have a 6lb lower on a stock upper. Seeing 13lbs and my timing is at 18 up top. I am however on an Eaton m122 rather than an m112. My iats are a lot lower than when I had an m112.
If I got traction and actually hot Rodded my car it would probably end itself but so far its pretty beastly .

So many combination lower & upper pully combos. What the math to figure the psi under different combos ?

Martyo is an excellent remote tuner I've done 4 remote tuning vehicles with him. I'll be completing my next project soon and martyo will be my tuner! awesome guy to work with and a great tune' as well. And if there's any bugs that need worked out he's patient and gives you time to fix it so you can continue to tuning.

There's some pretty accurate charts out there until you start changing compression ratios, adding long tube headers, etc.

This was always the way I understood it

1.5-2.5 lbs. 3.400"
3.5-4.5 lbs. 3.100"
5-6 lbs. 2.930"
6-7 lbs. 2.760"
2# lower - 2 psi
4# lower - 4 psi

With my stock Marauder block, non ported Trilogy, front cats removed, JLT, I made 13.5#’s with a 3.2/stock lower. This set up made 445/431

With my stock Cobra block, non ported Trilogy, stage 2 blower cams, oversized exhaust valves, JLT, and cheap Mac LT headers made to fit with no cats I pegged my 20# gauge with a 2.8/+4. New gauge that read up to 30 confirmed 20.5#’s. This was obviously not a good combo as it only made 460 due to heat.

Kind of an odd one as normally the more free flowing equals less boost.

Like mentioned, everything is a contributing factor.

2.93 upper and a 6lb lower, ported Eaton, welded/port matched elbow, ported heads, Stage 2 Crower cams degreed, 9:1 cr, 18 deg adv, Kooks headers, it came out at 18psi and 518rwhp. IATs did go through the roof on a wot pull though.
