I am selling my 2004 Mercury Marauder.
It has 201,567 miles on the odometer.
$3000.00 obo. Sold “ AS-IS”
I bought it in January 2005. It was used by salesman and had 23,000 miles at that time. It was garaged in the winter.
The Good:
The paint is in good shape. No fading cracking. The normal amounts of Nicks and scratches.
Entire air-conditioning system just re- done about six months ago. Hoses lines vacuum pressure etc. Also the blend door actuator replaced. Blows ice cold
New rear brakes and rotors. Front brakes and rotors good. Right rear axle shaft and bearings replaced about six months ago
No rust or rot. Clean underneath dry as a bone no leaks. Just passed New York State inspection. Oil changed every 3500 miles. Transmission shifts fine fluid nice and clean.
Garaged winters.
Clean inside. Tiny seam split on bottom drivers seat. Factory sound system with subwoofer six CD changer cassette an radio sounds great.

The Bad :
Needs engine work.
Timing chains and tensioner’s need replacement . Car runs but you can hear a chattering sound at start up. Also you can hear chains Noise (like a roller coaster going up) when the engine is warmer.
There was front end damage on the driver side 27 months ago. Fender headlight” s bumper and hood replaced
Passenger side front power window won’t go down.
Cosmetic damage on bumper far left-hand corner
There is a leak most likely from the sunroof drain along the A pillar. There was water on the driver side floor dried up now.
