View Full Version : 05+ Slot Style MAF in SCT Tune

So speaking with SCT (Derive) a while back, they didn't have much of an answer for a value file for my 05+ Slot Style MAF in a gt500 112mm housing. What they did tell me was to use the BA5000/4inch value file and go from there. 112mm is close to 4.5" so multiply 4 and 4.5 by pi for your surface areas, divide for the difference, .8888 x MAF table, Fuel injector Breakpoint, Manifold Volume, Engine Displacement and Fuel Injector Slopes. This got me really close! Just a little fine tuning with a couple of widebands and this mother rips!

Here's a wiring diagram below for the conversion.

I also changed Injector Timing Vs ECT to 200 because of the longer duration cams. If you look at Mark Olson's cam chart, The injector point on the chart is actually where Ford has the injectors stop firing, on a hot valve for vaporization. Positive numbers are in degrees past that point and allow for firing into an open valve. :beer:

lololololol, I still haven't mashed it to the floor yet. I've only taken her to 15lbs. It's pullied for 20:D MS109 anyone?





On a side note.
2005 to 2010 Slot MAFs are analog. 2011+ are GM style frequency based and can't be adapted to out PCMs. :beer:
