Engine technical specifications

I want to collect the engine technical specifications for my motor. Being the noob I am, I have captured high level information (https://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58600), but not technical details. I don't even know what I should be capturing. I looked at an engine analyzer pdf (http://performancetrends.com/Engine-Analyzer.htm) and got lost. Be nice. :)

Why do I need such information?
* I need the detailed engine build sheet and specifications for Marty.
* I want some level of details to share with friends, at car shows, ...., personal use.

Please share your recommendations.
