I am pretty sure this won't work for the stock radios but I've noticed many have upgraded to newer radios. I would like to mount it anywhere but the dash. Kind of hide it away. Plays through the car speakers.

Echo Auto?!
No fargin' way.
Amazon is one of the most privacy-invasive companies on Earth and there's no way I'll give them the potential to track where I go in the car. Yeah, yeah I know..."if you aren't doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to worry about"...but the thin end of the wedge is getting a lot thicker.

Do you have a smart phone?

I do, but I keep anything that can track me turned off. Yes, I know I can be tracked by just the cell signal, but that usually requires a court order. I'm concerned about private companies tracking me for data to sell for advertising or other nunya purposes.

I understand. Guess it doesn't bother me as much as some people.

If you carry any cell phone made in the last 6 years, they can track, listen, and even see what is going on in your car from your phones POV.

It's true. People need to be aware of the tracking these companies are doing. That's why it's important to disengage or shut off the NAV, microphone and the camera applications when not in use. Of course, the courts have said that law enforcement can remotely turn those applications back on (although they are supposed to have a warrant).
