Hi all, was looking at the Ford performance high volume pump.

and the billet gears

this will work out to about 100+ dollars cheaper than the highly touted melling...

Just wondered if its better, or would you guys go with the melling because of its stronger back plate allegedly and, ... regular volume?

first experience with ford pumps.

the melling 10227 i think is the model number,

and with the ford pump, Indiana doesnt have E-test/smog so... not worried about that.

The only billet gears I have heard to be good are from Triangle Speed Shop

I guess the hard part is finding out if the gears will fit the high volume pump. you think the valve is the only difference or the gears might have a different ratio. hmmm.

Ill check out the triangles next, thanks zack!
