So after searching my local pull a part they have a ton of vehicles, but no lincoln marks or cobras.

boat loads of other fords, from explorers, mercury moutaineers, crown victorias, lincoln towncars and contintentals.

is my best option a 3v crank from an 07 explorer? I was thinking of snagging a 3 valve bottom end, using the crank for now and the 3v block for an all out turbo build over time. are these an easy mod with the 4v heads?

anyway I know I am off topic with that but couldnt really find a comprehensive list of compatible parts from other ford vehicle years. perticularly cranks and bottom ends.

just the obvious stuff pops up that is rare and usually gone by now.

If doing a power adder build, I would buy a new forged crank, only forged crank I'm aware of is the cobra. Go on eBay or SVT forum

I would just buy a three valve engine and put the four valve heads on it and run it. Double triple quadruple check that the vehicle you were buying the engine from his wrecked because more than likely if it's not correct it had engine failure or possibly had transmission issue.

If you were just looking for a crank, I believe you could probably find a used good crank that somebody already has pulled and just buy that

It's a ton of work to get that engine out of that explorer you will literally have to sawzall it out
