So it appears that the fan on the 224k beast is working intermittently. I haven't had a chance to look at anything as yet. First thing I will be doing is checking the linkages to make sure they are corrosion free and secure. After that... thoughts?

Cooling or HVAC?

Cooling. For example: on the way to work this AM, traffic came to a standstill and I noticed the temp was at the high end of the normal range. Didn't overheat, but close to it. This is in 32º weather with no wind. I cranked the heater and then opened the roof so I wouldn't sweat and it helped a little. Once traffic got to moving the airflow got it back down to 1/2 way which is about where it usually sits.

Is the coolant full? Recently opened? If the coolant is full, not recently opened, and no leaks, I would datalog the coolant temp switch to rule that out next.

Then move onto the relay, fan, and the controller.

Any weird noises? Had one where the ring around the fan cracked. Run the car, put the A/C on, the fan should come on high. Check coolant level. The overflow tank cap may need to be replaced and system burped.
