My name is mike been a member for awhile just not a big computer guy. I recently damaged my fuel rail crossover hose in the back of the fuel rail and it's leaking fuel. I was wondering if I could just remove the hose and put fuel injection hose with clamps to do this or do I need a new fuel rail or is there a better solution for this. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks , mike

Risky business back there with the egr and all, I would recommend a rail to be safe.. im.sure someone on here has a used one for a good price

8uwith6 Neil may have one.. i too would buy the whole rail.. my dads new yorker caught fire at the hardware store because of a failed rail that was never touched.
Imagine if you tried to alter the rubber hose, its just not worth it in my opinion.

A proper fuel line is required. The factory is formed and stays away from things that could cause it damage. I've replaced the feed to the rail line before with an aftermarket line. I'm not talking gates fuel line with clamps either.

Like mentioned start a thread looking for one. Close to 10% of the cars on this site have probably upgraded by now. I know I have one you could normally have for free but it’s -22* right now and I’m not about to go hunting. Sorry. It’s supposed to warm up by the weekend and I could start digging if no one else offers theirs up before then.

Found it. Turns out it was still on the motor. If you interested I'll get pics for you it could use a good cleaning and polishing.
