Please post to help us figure what you would like www.ssinserts.com (http://www.ssinserts.com)Just recieved the SS Inserts in the mail yesterday Thanks, the factory handle is as nice as any I've seen on your site (No offence) I have hands that dwarf a pie plate and if I was to modify handle I would want at least the same size or larger . Also leather w***** is nicer to the touch than hard plastic (as yours appear to be ) hope this helps!! I would think some thing like what we have now with Gods Head or Marauder name embossed on it would go over well?? What do you think?? Who has trim kits for dash and door panels?? If you use my Ideas please send me a set of valve stem caps.Or better yet hire me to do design work for your company!!;)

If I had the Crown Victoria chrome shifter bezel, I might want a chrome handle to match. If I stay with the stock handle, I think an aluminum handle might be very cool to have. I would LIKE some "bling" in my cockpit somewhere, and that's the perfect thing to "bling" I think. Yeah, a tough, "race-ready-looking" aluminum shifter handle would be NICE!

How about, instead of plastic, leather (or fake leather) moving the actual gear shift itself. It's from the BMW 330Ci coupe. I'm just wondering what it might look like...how it might be acomplished. An automatic is pictured

How about carbon fiber? That would match the dot-matrix trim pretty nicely.

I also like BradleyG's idea with the Gods Head or Marauder embossed, but it would have to be a leather shifter knob.

Any possibility of having at least one extra switch in it that could be used for future mods??

I would love to get something like this shifter. Maybe you could add a button for the shift lock release. I just think this looks sweet.

use the stock shifter, but the dot matrix on the shaft and buttons of the shifter, that way it ties it all in.

I would like to see chrome or aluminium that would add another color to the cockpit other than Gray or Black.

A 3/D gods Head similiar to the Cobra shown would be awesome.

OOO, How about the stock shifter with a gator glass like Mercury or God's head symbol on the back of the shifter!!!

That would be waaaaaay cool.

How about a ricer clear shifter with neon inside??? j/k

What about a solid shifter made of carbon fiber or a black stained wood?

Maybe even like "CRUZTAKER" mentioned in Red...or even the same grey we have but with a chrome button and the white stitching like our seats.

And "2" buttons...one for the O/D and another for "future" mods like "SouLRioT" mentioned.

Marty is correct about the OEM chrome bezel and knob. There were a lucky few who received the parts on their MM's. Those are actually the OEM parts for the GranMarquis or Vic. Visit your local dealer and poke around, you'll find them on the lot somewhere....

BTW .....

The chrome versions of the shifter collar ( below the leather grip ) and the selector button are available also, however, I don't recall the part#s.

Sorry guys about the late response but it was on my MM when I got it 17 months ago with 302 miles & 3 months old as it was a trade in at L/M dealership. Service records show a complaint about mismatch dot matrix shifter bezel - guess they replaced it w/ chrome, I'm happy - it matches the wheels and my soon to come exhaust tips for my Borla.
