Here's my current favorite stock rim setup that maintains the stock tire ratio difference to keep traction control. The handling is very good and hydroplane resistant. Additionally the tires are quiet, which is a must.

Front:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+
255/45 ZR 18

Rear:
Nitto 420S
255/50 R 18

*Tune setting for this size is 745 revs/mile. (Stock settling is 723)

Changing out Marauder's tires next week - sticking with stock sizes. No clear consensus on tires here...

No way those rear tires ever hook with how much power your car is putting down. I ran them on my car probably close to 10 years ago.

I ditched the SUV tires for NT555's all around in a 245/45 + 265/50 size (235/50 is available), those are on the black car and I have a set of NT555 G2's ready to go on.

I really wish I could put a Pilot 4S on the Marauder, if it wasn't for the fact the stance would probably look stupid since we all have it ingrained into our minds that a Marauder should have a rake.

I'm running 295/45 Hankooks on the rear widened rims and 255/45 Hankooks up front.

Which line of Hankooks?

And do you have a pic of your car? I need to re-tire my old rubber:P
Stock fronts and 9.5 rears.

A friends trilogy car has 295 Hankook IIRC Ventus ST's and that car does rolling second gear burnouts at 40+mph.

I'm sure tread wear wise it'll last a long time.

I ordered a set of RS3 'A' tires instead of the RS3 'G1' tires due to a less stiff sidewall. The biggest complaint I found with the G1s was the harshness due to the stiff sidewalls. No Autocrossing for me! My present BFGs are harsh, probably due to age (13yo, 16k miles).

Did not know you could still get the RS3-A tires. I have those on the 08. Like them also. Would have gone with those on Marauder last summer but was told they were out of production so I took a chance on the new G1's.
